Virtual Dating for the Real World

Several real events have recently taken place in the “virtual” space. Lively, backed by Google and Vivaty, backed by $9M in VC funding, launched their betas. Second Life and IBM announced that they figured out how to bridge two virtual worlds. These developments make virtual experiences hotter than ever!

From the online dating perspective, this opens up interesting opportunities to create a variety of amazing products. Presently, OmniDate is still the only virtual dating-specific application, however over the next year or so more exciting products will likely emerge.

Being the only virtual dating application, OmniDate welcomes new virtual experiences, as it validates the “virtual” concept and creates awareness.
