I just had a conversation with Ravit about the future of online dating. We agreed that dating sites without a virtual dating component will become obsolete within 3 years. Everything is moving toward virtual environments. In the case of the online dating industry, this progression seems completely natural. Although dating companies have been slow to jump in, once the first couple major players offer a virtual dating feature on their sites, everyone else will follow …
The biggest benefit, of course, will go to the First Mover, as it always does! Who will it be? It remains to be seen … but several visionaries are looking at virtual dating closely as I write this
